In November, the first meeting of the Oversight Committee took place, chaired by Katrien Termeer of the WUR. The goal of the Oversight Committee is to guarantee the independence of the G1000 Agriculture process and to ensure that G1000.nu remains true to its values throughout the organisation of the G1000 Agriculture. During the first meeting, expertise was exchanged, expectations were clarified and tasks assigned. At the next meeting in December, the Oversight Committee will start discussing the programme drafted by the G1000 Programme Team. From their own expertise, Committee members will review the programme and offer suggestions for improvement.
